What you get

A row for every payment

The schedule breaks your loan into one row per payment. Each row shows how much went to principal, how much to interest, any extra you paid, and the balance that remains. Switch to the yearly view for a summary, or the monthly view for the full detail.

It is the same document a lender uses to track your loan, and it is genuinely useful for planning: you can see the exact month PMI drops off, the balance at any point if you might sell, and how much interest you will have paid by a given year.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked

How do I export the schedule?
Use the CSV button for a spreadsheet file or Print for a PDF. Both are generated locally, so nothing leaves your browser.
What does the balance column show?
The amount you still owe after that payment clears. It falls a little faster each month as more of your fixed payment goes to principal.
Can I see the schedule for a 15-year loan?
Yes. Change the term to 15 years and the schedule rebuilds. You will see far less total interest and a much steeper balance decline.
